We value every participant and the journey behind every performance: hours of preparation, creative work, effort and dedication to the stage. That is why every artist who performs on the SHABASH stage receives a special commemorative award — “Dance Witch” as a symbol of recognition for their participation, stage experience and the special moment they created with us.

Each category includes the following awards:
● 1st, 2nd and 3rd place — are awarded according to the judges’ scores.
● Audience Choice — the participant with the highest audience voting score in the category. Voting takes place through a special online system during the event.
● Witch of Unique Energy — a special award for a unique vision of the performance, an original approach, creative courage and/or special stage energy. It is selected by the SHABASH organizer among performances that stand out with their own style, charisma and ability to create a strong, unique and special impression on stage.

❗️ Important:
If fewer than 7 participants actually perform in a category, only 1st place will be awarded.
The Witch of Unique Energy award may not be given if there is no performance in the category that meets the criteria of this award.

Special awards for the whole event:
● Best Exotic Witch — the main award of the event, chosen by the judges and the SHABASH organizer.
● Judges’ Special Awards — individual awards given according to each judge’s own criteria (charisma, aesthetics, idea, energy, etc.).

❗️ The final participation fee must be paid within 7 calendar days from the date of receiving the confirmation email. If the payment is not completed within the specified period, the artist will be removed from the finalist list, and their place will be offered to the next artist according to the Video Selection results.

The Video Selection stage is conducted to ensure an objective and fair placement of Participants into categories according to their current level of preparation. Each submitted video undergoes a full review, including scoring based on each judging criterion and providing individual feedback and comments.
Video selection requirements:● The application fee must be paid first, after which the Registration Form must be completed immediately.● The submitted video must represent your current level of Exotic Pole Dance skills.● The application must include links to your social media profiles. At the time of the Video Selection, your profiles must be open and available for review by the Organizers.● For the Classic, Experimental, and Tricks categories, the selection video must match the style and requirements of the chosen category.● For the Theatre category, it is mandatory to provide a general idea or concept of the performance.● It is not required to wear a stage costume or present the exact performance that will be prepared for the championship.
Video requirements for selection:● Only online video links in high quality are accepted (Google Drive/iCloud, Instagram, YouTube). Videos must be available in Full HD quality.● The video file/link must be named in the following format: Selection / SHABASH / your category / stage name or first and last name● Duration: from 1.5 to 2 minutes. If a video from a previous performance is longer than 2 minutes, it must be edited and shortened.● You may submit a performance video or a rehearsal video recorded in a studio, but only the Participant should be visible in the frame.● The video must not be recorded earlier than 6 months before the application submission date.● Costume: at the Participant’s discretion. A stage costume is not required.● What the video must include: ● Artistry, technique, choreography, and musicality. ● Floorwork and pole work (static or spinning pole). ● Performance directly facing the camera, with eye contact directed towards the camera. ● Stable camera position without sudden movements. ● The Participant must be clearly visible in full body view (all parts of the body must be visible). ● Only the original audio track is accepted (no music added over the video). The sound must be clear. ● Colored lighting is allowed, as long as it does not prevent judges from evaluating the face, artistry, and facial expressions.● Videos that are not accepted: ❌ Videos without sound. ❌ Videos edited from multiple separate fragments. ❌ Videos with excessive camera movement that makes evaluation difficult. ❌ Videos with cuts, video effects, or filters applied. ❌ Videos where any parts of the body are cropped out of the frame. ❌ Videos with other people visible in the frame. ❌ Videos with added or replaced audio tracks.
Judges’ Rights: • Judges have the right to move a Participant to another category if their level does not correspond to the declared category. • Judges have the right not to evaluate an application if it does not meet the requirements listed above, or to apply penalty points according to the rules.Selection Results: • Each Participant receives scores and individual feedback from the judges.
• Participants with the highest scores will proceed to the Final.

● Any aggressive actions with the pole lock are prohibited, except for changing the pole mode (static/spinning). It is forbidden to throw, hit, lick, or otherwise misuse the pole lock or any technical equipment.
● Statists entering the stage wearing outdoor shoes at any time during the event (rehearsals, performances, breaks) — 5 points
● Illogical ending of the performance / improperly cut music track — 5 points
● Late submission of required materials (music, video, participant form fields, photos, pole mode, lighting requirements, and other necessary information):
— up to 5 days late — minus 10 points;
— more than 5 days late — minus 10 points and an additional financial penalty.
The final decision regarding the application of penalty points is made by the Penalty Judge.

Technique● Clean execution — body control during elements; absence of unnecessary grips, steps, or accidental movements; ease and confidence in pole work; maintaining proper stage angles and presentation.● Lines — aesthetics and quality of body shapes in tricks and choreography.● Pole work / control — the ability to perform various movements and combinations on the pole with technical precision, smoothness, and confidence. Evaluation includes accuracy, originality, coordination, and overall control.● Body control / flexibility and movement quality — the ability to maintain posture and perform movements with precision, flexibility, and expressiveness according to the style of the performance.● Difficulty of tricks (for Tricks category) — evaluation of the difficulty level of elements and the quality of their execution.● Difficulty and logic of combinations (for Tricks category) — evaluation of the complexity of sequences, transitions between elements, and their organic integration into the performance.● Synchronization (for Duo and Group categories) — coordination and unity of movements between partners.
Choreography● Range of movement / amplitude — the scale and extension of movements, as well as the ability to use the stage space through flexibility, stretching, arm movements, back movements, head movements, hair work, and other body expressions.● Integrity and logic of transitions — the connection of movements within the choreography, their consistency, smoothness, and harmony.● Use of stage space — effective movement and positioning within the stage area: using different parts and directions of the space (height, depth, width, perspective, etc.).● Performance composition — the structure and construction of the performance: logical development of the act, connection of individual parts, and creation of a complete and coherent performance.
Musicality● Musical amplitude — the dancer’s ability to change the character, scale, and dynamics of movement according to the music, creating contrasts, accents, and development throughout the performance.● Matching movements to sounds, expressiveness, and movement interpretation according to the music — the dancer’s ability to express music through movement: responding to rhythm, accents, melody, and the character of the composition, creating a strong connection between body and sound.● Work with pauses and holding the moment (musicality of stops and poses) — the dancer’s ability to use musical pauses, stops, and delays to create expression. Evaluation includes the ability to fill a pause with emotion, tension, and continue the musical phrase through body expression.● Realization of the musical concept — evaluation of how effectively the dancer demonstrates the musicality built into the choreography: conveying rhythm, accents, dynamics, character, and mood of the music through movement.
Artistry● Integrity of the performance — harmonious combination of costume, presentation, logical beginning and ending of the performance, and maintaining the overall compositional unity.● Stage appearance — stage costume, hairstyle, and makeup; their consistency with the music track and the style of the performance.● Interaction with props or supporting performers — appropriate use and creative interaction with props, as well as coordination with assistants on stage.● Emotional involvement / facial expression — the ability to fully experience the performance and convey emotions through facial expression and inner state. Evaluation includes depth, sincerity, and authenticity of emotional expression.● Emotional expression through body and movement — the ability to convey emotions through body language, poses, gestures, and movement dynamics according to the music and mood of the composition.● Connection with the audience — visual and energetic connection with spectators, and the ability to involve the audience in the performer’s emotional story.● Storyline and performance concept development — clarity and logic of the story structure, creative presentation, and visual readability of the concept.● Artistic representation of the character — the ability to create and convey the character or stage image through appearance, movement, emotions, and presentation. Evaluation includes the integrity of the image and its connection with the performance concept.● Interaction with partner (for Duo and Group categories) — coordination of movements, emotional and physical connection, shared dramaturgy, and maintaining a unified stage image. Evaluation includes how effectively partners work as one complete stage presence.

1. The music track must match the character, concept, and choreography of the performance.
2. The music composition must have a logical beginning and ending.
3. The use of Russian-language tracks and tracks by Russian artists is prohibited. [According to the Law of Ukraine No. 7273-d dated 19.06.2022, Russian music is prohibited in public spaces.]
4. Each Participant may submit one music track for their performance.
4.1 The performance is allowed only with the officially assigned track registered to the Participant.
4.2 A track can be reserved already at the video selection application stage.
4.3 The track reservation becomes valid only after the application is confirmed by the Organizers.
4.4 The same music track may be used no more than two times during one competition day, provided that Participants perform in different categories.
4.5 If several Participants from the same category choose the same track, priority is given to the Participant who submitted the application and selected the track first.
4.6 The list of reserved tracks can be viewed here → Reserved Tracks.
4.7 If a Participant changes their music track during preparation, they must inform the Organizers. The automatic system does not track music changes, therefore a new track is not considered reserved until it is confirmed by the Organizers. After receiving the notification, the Organizers will assign the new track to the Participant.
4.8 If a Participant uses a different track without prior approval, the Organizers have the right to refuse the performance or, if the performance has already taken place, review or cancel the result and/or apply other organizational decisions depending on the situation.5. A screen is installed on the stage and Participants may use it as an additional visual element during their performance.
5.1 The use of the screen is optional.
5.2 A standard title screen with the Participant’s name and category will be added automatically to each Participant’s video or track. The duration of the title screen is 4 seconds.
5.3 During performances where the Participant has not provided their own video content, the screen will display the standard SHABASH background visual adapted to the Participant’s music track. Examples of visual content can be viewed here:

5.4 If a Participant wants to use the screen, the music and video must be combined into one file according to the following technical requirements:
▪️ Video size: 512 (width) × 416 (height) px

▪️ Codec: QuickTime
The file must be uploaded to the Finalist Google Form as one file no later than 23.10.2026 inclusive.
❗️The Organizers and technical team are not responsible for the quality of playback if the file does not meet the required technical specifications.
5.5 It is prohibited to add nicknames, usernames, logos, or any other captions to the video content.
6. The maximum performance duration is defined for each category/rank (see the “Categories” section). Exceeding the allowed track duration is not permitted. If a Participant needs to use a longer music track, it can only be considered with prior approval from the Organizers and may require an additional payment.

1. Stage appearance is an essential part of the performance and must match the style and concept of the routine. All elements — costume, makeup, and hairstyle — must create a complete and coherent image.2. Makeup should be suitable for stage lighting.3. Manicure and pedicure must be neat and match the overall image.4. The costume must allow freedom of movement and safe execution of elements.5. All costume details must be securely fixed. Materials and decorations must be safe for dancers, the stage, and equipment.6. The stage image and costume must match the aesthetics of the event and maintain a professional and artistic appearance of the performance. 6.1 The chest must be covered by at least 50% with material that does not create the effect of a nude body. Costumes that imitate a naked chest or pasties as the only element covering the chest are not allowed. 6.2 Thongs are allowed if they provide sufficient coverage of intimate areas. A-string, T-string and other models with extremely minimal coverage are not allowed.7. The use of knee pads is allowed: ● visible knee pads with thin straps around the leg (for example, Ajoure Floral triangles, Queen Wear lips); ● hidden knee pads made from costume fabric or sewn into the costume; ● knee pads discreetly hidden under thigh-high boots, leg warmers, thick tights, etc., without disturbing the overall line and color of the image.8. The following are prohibited: ● using standard training knee pads (neoprene, biflex, mass-market models) that have excessive volume and visually deform the leg silhouette, making the overall image heavier. Knee pads must be part of the stage image and match it in color and texture. Decorative elements (stones, glitter, etc.) on such models do not allow their use on stage; ● using advertising inscriptions or commercial logos on the costume; ● using training or everyday clothing as a costume; ● showing exposed intimate areas; ● using costumes or image elements that do not provide the required body coverage; ● an excessively explicit stage presentation that goes beyond the aesthetics and format of SHABASH; ● using costumes that imitate a naked chest or pasties as the only element covering the chest; ● using A-string, T-string and other models with extremely minimal coverage; ● performing barefoot or wearing 1-inch heels.9. Intimate areas must be fully covered and remain covered throughout the entire performance.10. Removing individual costume elements is allowed only if full coverage of intimate areas is maintained.11. Footwear must match the exotic pole dance style (pole heels) and be safe for the stage.
❗ Important:● The following are considered non-stage appearance: visible protection on shoes, training or everyday costumes, training knee pads, untidy appearance, lack of stage makeup, excessive costume exposure.❗ A non-stage appearance will result in score deductions and penalties.
